ABOUT ME
Karen is an aspiring environmental and concept artist born in Paris, France. Graduate of the Illustration program at Dawson College, she studied art fundamentals such as composition techniques, grayscale values, color harmonies and is proficient in many mediums including 3D sculpting, digital painting, 2D animation, photography, storyboarding and traditional painting with watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
Constantly perfecting her artistic process and in search of new opportunities to diversify her style, Karen uses art to convey strong and submerging emotions to her audience. She conceives and builds atmospheres in her daydreams and brings those dreams to life by rendering realistic natural landscapes, fantasy character designs, as well as abstract compositions with primitive shapes. She is motivated by the never-ending pursuit of artistic stimuli and the knowledge to further enhance her skills and better communicate her intricate mindscape.
